Beach Elopement in Monterey California | Ocean View Blvd. Wedding Portraits | California Wedding Photographer | Elopement by the Sea
Sometimes you don't need a big production to have a spectacular day. Maybe you just need your brother who can officiate, your best friend who made your save the dates, and your photographer can also be your witness. ;) We started the day by arriving at the lovely Air Bnb. This place was beautiful. From the lighting to the decor to the spacious kitchen in which the couple would later prepare their own wedding meal. Yes, you read that right! It was the perfect venue for a 4 person elopement! After getting ready, sneaking peaks along the way, and having a spur of the moment first look, it was time for the ceremony. The barn doors just outside in the front of the house made for a great backdrop. After a few short and laughter ensuing words, Nariya & Scott said "I do" and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. Dancing in the artichoke fields seemed like just the right place to take portraits before heading off to explore the coast.
The colors of the moss and massive rocks along the shores of Ocean View Blvd. was the perfect setting for the couple's portraits. Scott & Nariya are very familiar with "climbing rocks and dirt mounds" in order to achieve epic photos due to the adventure we had during their engagement shoot. This was no different. They explored, climbed, ran, and jumped all along the beaches of the Pacific Grove coastal line. The fog rolled in fast and provided a gorgeous sky for the last set of photos before heading back to the house for the "reception".
Have you ever heard of a bride a groom cooking and serving their own wedding dinner and dessert? Yea, me neither. But being as Scott is a chef and Nariya a pastry chef, I guess it only makes sense right!? The two of them prepared a lovely meal and fed each other Scott's favorite, carrot cake, for dessert.
Thank you so much to these two for allowing us to be a part of their special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness!
